The Samsung Galaxy Grand arrives with a large 5-inch screen which makes it a cheaper Galaxy Note II substitute with some cuts on the specifications and eventually the price tag.
Samsung has launched the dual-SM version of the Galaxy Grand which is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1 GB RAM and packs in 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded to up to 64 GB via microSD card.
The dual-SIM phablet packs in the following specifications:
*5-inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen
*Display resolution 800 x 480 pixels
*1.2 GHz dual-core processor
*1 GB RAM
*8 GB internal memory
*Expandable to 64 GB via microSD slot
*8 MP Autofocus camera with LED Flash
*2 MP front-facing shooter
*Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS
*3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, NFC
*2100 mAh battery
Samsung has launched the Galaxy Grand in India for Rs. 21,500 which seems to be a bit pricey going by the specs that the smartphone packs in but the street price is bound to be lesser.
