Intel officially revealed details of its upcoming next-generation series of Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition processors.

These processors unveils new octa core technology for PC, These also supports DDR4 memory for top of the league performance.

As expected the confirmation has come from this year’s GDC event that Intel’s new X99 motherboard chipset will phase out and replace its current X79 motherboards.

The new Haswell-based Extreme Edition Intel Core i7 chips will be targeted firmly at the enthusiast audience, offering some top-notch power for a no doubt top-tier price. Codename ‘Devil’s Canyon’, the new processors will come packing eight unlocked cores and 16 threads due to hyper threading.

The standard DDR4 memory interface should mean a shunt up to much higher transfer speeds and peak performance, as well greater energy efficiency and reduced power drain.

As a gamer, these processors will provide you ultimate performance and extreme overclocking capabilities. An unlocked multiplier combined with an improved thermal interface should ensure that this is the most powerful processor range on the market.
